The elder brother was against it, because he had to become the head of the house, so he secretly from Fiora gathered in his house a disgrace member of the Crownguard family and representatives of other prominent families to slander Fiora and to remove her from the post of head of the house. He and a member of the Crownguard family found a way to reconciliation, according to which the honor of the Laurent's family would be fully restored. According to which the disgrace failed husband in front of other members of noble families will deprive Fiora of virginity. The next day, the older sister poured a weakening potion into Fiora's wine, from which she lost consciousness.
